Find the area on the cake where you want the cash box to go. Take your cake cutting tool and press it into the cake at that spot and push down until the handle is flush with the cake’s surface. Remove the tool and the section of cake to reveal a perfectly cut section that will fit the cash box. Place the cash box inside the open space and cover with frosting to hide it.
